Why is it important to engage in international trade development? There is no domestic industry that is being spared from international competition. If we fail to advance with the world markets, then we can be suffering a much worse fate in the future. The U.S. trade position has declined from a $12.4 million surplus in 1975 to a 64.2 billion deficit in 2006. If U.S. companies fail to step up to the plate, other foreign companies will and our industries will continue to decline. Who can become a client of Tradepire?Although we can work with clients of all sizes, we design our work processes to meet the needs of small and medium-sized manufacturers and retailers who need an aggressive, but comprehensive, trade development climate. Some companies may qualify for an accelerated program, but this is not recommended, nor made available, to first time exporters. How will my current operations be effected? The trade developer usually spends one day a week in your office, therefore, your trade team members required for that day will need to be available. International trade will increase the demand on your existing management; however, the program is designed to minimize the involvement of "worker bees." We facilitate the trade functions at the higher levels of the Company, where they belong and are most successful. Who will be assigned to me as my Trade Developer? In all cases, a Senior Trade Developer will be assigned to your program and under most circumstances, you will meet them from the first meeting with Tradepire. From time to time, we may add a more junior trade developer to the team, if we can save you money in doing so, and you approve in advance. How am I billed?Your company will be billed on a monthly basis for time and expenses. You can require that expenses be preapproved by you or your designated representative. Your terms are NET 10 and you can pay by check, major credit card or electronic check. Clearinghouse services are provided by PayPal. Why is there no one at your office when I call?We use a "virtual office" setup with our Trade Developers. Although their attendance is required in the office on a set day of the week to meet the administrative needs of Tradepire, we require all Trade Developers to work in the office of the Client Companies. We have no clerical level employees and even our marketing, website administration, accounting and administrative management are all handled by seasoned professionals under heavily contracted terms. Are mailing lists available of your client base and their trade data?We are always happy to discuss trade data that we have learned through the years on an industry level; however, we do not discuss, nor publicize, the trade activities or position of any particular company. If you would like the opportunity to discuss the operations of one of our clients, we will be happy to establish that relationship directly with the Client and make the formal introductions. Client data is considered proprietary and must always come directly from the client. |
